14 Trapdoors

14 Trapdoors is an American hip hop group from Buffalo, New York, formed in 2017. The group is composed of rapper/producers Short Moscato & Bendyface. Bendy's brother, yung matter, is also an official member. The group has worked with numerous producers and artists since their inception, including Benny the Butcher, Mick Jenkins, Camoflauge Monk, Royce Da 5’9’’, Lex Luger, Smoke DZA and Lil B, among others. They have performed across the U.S., and alongside longstanding touring artists such as Raekwon, Freddie Gibbs, Smokepurpp, GZA and many more. . 14 Trapdoors throws live shows in their hometown regularly and are heavily involved in the Buffalo, NY hip-hop scene. The group’s popularity has steadily grown on music streaming services and through their music videos, which are notable for being experimental, varied and continuous (all available on 14’s YouTube channel). In late 2019, 14 Trapdoors are released “Eileen,” a collaboration project with fellow Buffalo musician, producer & longtime Griselda affiliate Camoflauge Monk. The '14' in the moniker 14 Trapdoors is a tribute to their hometown; the digits in Buffalo’s area code - 716 - add up to 14.
