What happens when you take the functionality out of makeup as a medium? This is a virtual makeup create space as part of the Buffalo Infringement Festival where you are free to experiment, share ideas, ask questions, or just get inspired by what other people are doing! Join us tonight, Saturday July 31st at 8:30PM. Just type in this meeting link https://bit.ly/3ltEzJh There will be a chat and people are welcome to turn their mics on to interact, but this is a great event for those who just want to independently work on something/get inspiration without a lot of socialization too! Whether you have a lot or no experience using this particular medium, this can be an opportunity to think about new ways that makeup can be used as an art form, or simply an excuse to be in the company of cool people. The benefits of this being virtual is that people can use their own tools and collections if they have them. For those who have not yet invested in these very fun art supplies, a limited amount of randomly assorted kits are available here today before the event. Note: these kits aren’t high quality, but have fun stuff to play with! There will be kits available for pickup at Frank E Merriweather Library, Golden Hour Treats & Things, Intersection Cafe, Khari’s Cafe, Revolver Records, Rust Belt Books, Sunshine Vegan Eats. This event is open to all and any genders.
